died July 15, 1797, in the rear of Grant's Tomb, a
monumental tomb where the body of General U. S.
Grant. Riverside Church (Baptist) 122nd Street is
seen facing Riverside Drive.

1831, recites that the owner "desires this tract for the
advantage and pleasure of the owners of the 66 lots
surrounding it ..." The Building of the Consolidated
Edison Company is to be seen on 14th Street.
